US Airways Veg Meals & Seat Selection
I'm a long-time Flyertalk lurker and happy to finally join FT 
.
I just booked a PHL>DUB RT (economy) for August and am vegetarian.
Does anyone have recommendations on choosing between: Veg Meal, Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian, or Asian Vegetarian? I'll eat anything veggie, and am looking to pick the best-tasting of the three.
Second question is on seat selection. I went to select my PHL>DUB seat and my favorite, window seats, were not available; choice seats were 99$ (!).
The only options were middle seats up front and a bunch of seats in the back.
Does US Airways tend to hold back seats and release better ones pre-flight? Or am I just relatively late in picking my spot? Got suspicious and hoping I can keep checking back.

I pick AVML myself as it usually has the most flavor
I would go for an isle seat at the back and check occasionally for other availability,
