Mysterious 30k bonus miles from US Mastercard
OK, I'm curious if anyone else got this or knows what it came from. I was checking my mileage balance on AwardWallet today, and I noticed that my US total had been increased by 30,000 miles. So I checked my US account and I found this entry:
04/11/14 US MASTERCARD REDEMPTION BONUS PROMO 30000
I have not used this card in about six months, and I have no idea what these miles are for. Not complaining, of course, but it is a mystery.

I had received a letter from Barclay's apologizing because they had discovered they had inadvertently not issued anniversary miles (10,000) and to expect a correction on my next statement.
Sure enough 3/15 i got 20,000 labeled as "first use bonus miles". These were not PQMs, i know i get that annually but these were just normal miles.
I had not asked a question and the letter was unexpected.
I'll take it.
