Reapply Dividend Miles earned this year to Aadvantage miles?

Is it possible for American to remove the dividend miles I earned so far this year and reapply them as Aadvantage miles? Similar to receiving credit for flights in the past 6 months but they are already in the form of dividend miles.

My guess would be "no." Airlines almost never permit you to change the program to which your flights are credited after you've credited the flights to another program.
