Share the gift of travel this holiday season - share your miles with a friend or family member. It's an economical way to help someone travel.
This Cyber Week, from December 2–6, we're making sharing even sweeter with a special holiday bonus miles offer that can help you give up to DOUBLE the miles.
The more you share, the more bonus miles your friend or family member will receive.
US Website for info:
https://buy.points.com/marketing/usairways/landingpages/share.html?CAMPAIGNCODE=003_25_0110_BYUP50000BNS00 0000000_021213
Both accounts must be >= 12 days old.
NOTE: It is against the Flyertalk Guidelines & Rules to offer to trade, outside of Coupon Connection. Disciplinary action will be taken if there are posts to that effect.

It's a lot harder to consolidate now. I'd probably go 50k C to A, 50k C to B. Then 50k A to C and B to C. You'll end up with one nice size account (200k), plus 60 and 105. If you primarily want enough for 3 awards in J, then don't transfer back from A to C and stay with 110k, 105k, 150k.
I'm in almost the exact same situation. Wish I could consolidate with this promo.

MOD NOTE:
I added the Wikipost with a summary of the program and a link to the US Website, as well as how it is against FT rules to offer to trade (outside of Coupon Connection).
Any posts about trading will be deleted and the Flyertalkers subject to disciplinary actions.
Thanks.

US is actively engaged in StarNet blocking of inter-EU seats on LH. So, it's mostly a matter of perspective: if your interests lie elsewhere then, well ,good, but for those of us who travel to EU alot, you will we denied seats available to UA, AC and the rest of star alliance.

So, as a relative novice to USDM can one of you experts confirm this plan is legitimate please?
2 parents and 3 kids.
A moves 10k to B who nets 15k
B moves that 15k and the existing balance of 7k to C who nets 38k
C moves that 38k and the existing balance of 6k to D who nets 88k
D moves 50k to E who nets 100k and D retains 38k
E moves 50k to A who nets 100k and E retains 50k
A balance 100k
D balance 38k
E balance 50k
Is my maths correct?

Hey guys,
being more of an hotel buff myself I hope you can help me to figure this out as i want to avoid making a bad investment.
My wife and I have to fly HKG-Germany-HKG soon. We have no Account with UA but would plan to use the miles for another *A carrier. Is it correct that if we both buy 50.000 miles for 567$ each and share those, we both end up with 100k miles more than enough for a round trip C3-C2-C3 ? Sounds a bit to good to be true except for the availability of award flights...
Thanks for clarifying!
