Dos Equis added but The Glenlivet taken away?

Looks like some small catering changes happened on April 1 - on my flight today I was denied my beloved Glenlivet as the single malt has fallen by the wayside to Dewars a blend.

In a small step towards improvement they also seem to have added Dos Equis as a beer selection...

Let the speculation begin about cost-cutting? Step towards integration with AA? Or just a random change...

PS: updated on website now - http://www.usairways.com/en-US/trave...maincabin.html also they 'added' another premium wine - Antoine Moueix La Grande Chappelle 2011 Bordeaux

Serving Glen Levit was one of the few bragging points I had with flying USAirways.

Bragging point over who? DL and AA both serve Glenlivet. UA has it on international flights only.

Glenlivet in a plastic cup is tragic. Dewars seems more fitting.

I don't always drink beer in F on US, but when I do, I'm glad they serve me Dos Equis in a plastic cup!

They must have made this change before Apr 1 because I had a couple of flights in March that only had Dewars as well.

Ech. I remember when AA tried to get rid of or cut back on Glenlivet. Now I have to go back to no scotch again?

Today's flight BOS-PHL still had Glenlivet, wonder how long it will take to make the switch

Ugh! Dewars instead of GL?!?!! Talk about a downgrade! I knew that one day someone at corporate would notice this inconsistency with the rest of the F beverages. So sad, last remaining touch of class in front cabin appears to be fading...

Is this a sign of our future as AA?

based on when they stole the tequila from us, it just depends on when they run out of what they have on hand.... All for better beer options but dos equis really, come on guys. This kettle wont be purchasing any of that.

Not good.. i much rather preferred the glenlivet. It was a reason to take US vs. UA.

I'm writing in to express my displeasure.. i hope others do too.
