Mco schedule winter 2012/2013....impressive

I don't remember Us sending quite this much capacity to MCO even before 9/11.
Clt-4x 321 1x 734 1x 752 2x 762!!1x 332!!!!
Phl-3x 321 2x 320 1x 752 2x 762!!
Phx-2x 321
Dca-2x 320 2x 734 1x 319 1xe175

That is an incredible amount of heavies for mco from us. I wonder how the us gate/ground agents will handle all the capacity.
Also worth noting Clt-Phl sees a 332 again as well

Am I correct in assuming that I can get complimentary preferred upgrades to the front of the cabin on those heavies?

Yes, though expect domestic first service on them, which should also mean no use of the entertainment systems on the A332 (though I'd like to see that change).

What dates are you seeing this? I just did a random search, Friday before Christmas, coming back a Saturday first week in January, and then two random week in late January, and I'm not seeing any 767s or 330s. A couple of internationally configured 757s, but not seeing the heavies...

Impressive ^

Though I am sad there's no MCO-PIT these days. To think that route once got a 767...

I checked Jan of next year because you said "Winter 2012/2013." No offense, but something that only appears to be happening the first three weeks of November isn't really "Winter 2012/2013,", is it? (I did a more detailed search forward and backward from your dates, and the 332 seems to appear at the beginning of November; there's one flight a day in October that is a 767, but that's the only heavy at that time, and all the heavies seem to be gone by Thanksgiving week) It's more like "the three weeks leading up to Thanksgiving." Might want to change the thread title to more accurately reflect the picture, given that none of this is appearing in 2013.

Still cool, though.

YAY!!! That's great news!!

A few months ago I had a 321 upgrade to a 767 leaving MCO. The ground staff handled it great--even with the change of equipment we were off the gate a couple minutes early.

if you also look at clt-abe for past thanksgiving it says a 319 is back on the route. This has been shown multiple times. and it always changes. I believe the accurate schedule is only up to november 18th and then changes to the "default" so to speak i think you will see the 332 extended in a few weeks to more of the winter

Fair enough, I'll buy that. Thanks for explaining.

Current schedule online has it running 10/29 to 11/17.

Flight 801 is currently GIG to CLT, which is also being upgauged to 332 and seemingly GIG-CLT-MCO

I guess this is relative and speaks volumes about USAirways. To put it in perspective DL has 15 RT's a day between MCO and ATL (just one of their hubs) and it is very unlikely to see anything smaller than a 752 on that route

How does this "speak volumes about US Airways" other than to show that the airline is half the size of DL?

The reason it doesn't show past 11/18 is because the schedule after 11/18 isn't set in stone....its just a dummy schedule.
