Why doesn't US Airways remove irrelevant pages?

Why doesn't US Airways remove irrelevant pages?

US Airways seems to keep it's old pages archived but still online so that it isn't too hard to accidentally find them if you Google search instead of clicking the links on their website.

The entire brand disappears from existence in just over 2 months - I don't think cleaning up their soon-to-be-retired web site is going to be a priority investment right now. They've been in this minimum-investment mode for quite some time.
