April 2014 Promo - Fly oneworld Partners, Get DM Bonus Up To 25,000

I think someone pulled the tigger early since the promo says registration starts March 31 (and it looks live on March 28) and promo runs through June 30

Fly oneworld partners and get bonus miles after you fly on more than 1. (Each partner only counts once)

Fly 1 = 0 Bonus
Fly 2 = 500 Bonus
Fly 3 = 2,500 Bonus
Fly 4 = 5,000 Bonus
Fly 5 = 15,000 Bonus
Fly 6 = 25,000 Bonus

Maybe I'm missing it but its not clear if award flights would count...

I doubt it since they don't earn FF credit. But it looks like only one flight segment is needed for each qualification. And that multiple airlines on one ticket count as well (ie US to HKG: AA-JL outbound/CX-AA return = 3 OW airlines). Or someone can do a Euro-hop. BA/AB/AY/IB and I think LAN still has a tag-on flight from a SCL-MAD flight. I think it goes on to FRA or CDG.

That's a pretty steep ramp up in bonus - ZERO miles for one partner? And then only 500 for the second?? Who comes up with this stuff? How lame.

Because AA counts as one partner. ;)

Would CX and KA count as one or separate airlines?

Take a minute with the T&Cs.

With years of promos, one should think they should have learnt to write clear t&c:confused:
