A320 question: Row 4 or Row 11?
Thread title is basically it, is the bulkhead more roomy than exit row 11? I fly almost exclusively one 321's & 757's, have not been on a 320 in a long time. As a followup, is it possible to get up from the window seat of row 4 without making aisle/middle people get up? Thanks....

I believe the bulkhead is roomier, but I personally prefer the exit row since there's under seat storage so I don't have to get up to get my book or laptop. I'm not tall (5'6"), so the space isn't as important to me - that might be a bigger factor for someone taller.

I'm 6'3" and find the bulkhead at row 4 restricts my legroom so I go for row 10 or 11. Row 10 doesn't recline, but I rarely recline.
For short flights 4 is not bad and you get out of the plane faster.
You can get to the aisle without your seatmates having to stand up in rows 4, 10 and 11.

What is the final verdict on Row 4 versus 11 for legroom? I just booked a bunch of tickets several months out and have my choice of aisle seat in either 4 or 11 for each flight. I'm 5'11 with long legs, so I usually opt for more leg room.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I'm your height and row 11 is fine for me. I usually avoid bulkhead rows (e.g., 4) due to the need to stow carry on bags overhead during takeoff and landing.

The bulkhead seats, even in F, simply do not have enough legroom (I'm 6'). I always try to get 11AC on CRJ9 and 10ACF on A31

I have 4F right now on a 319, but 10F is open. If I remember correctly you cannot get by the passengers in 10D and E from F without making them get up, I am wrong?

True - on the A319 that is tough. This is of course true of nearly every window seat except a small percentage of exit rows that either have a normal boarding door in front of them, like 9DE/10ABC on the A321, or have a flight attendant seat in front, such as 24 on the East 757.
If you're tall, you want 10A or 10F on the A319 - huge legroom with no seat right in front of you, and underseat storage under 8A/F. You probably don't want any of the other exit seats on the 319.
