I don't mind 9B, at least you have lots of elbow room. Sometimes you can put your back under 8A too and have extra legroom.

I just switched from 9E to 10F because of this thread. There is one F seat left, but I am on an AA codeshare and have to hope it is available at check-in time in a few hours. If not, I guess at least I'll have some leg room. Figures the longest flight of the 4 is the one that I screwed up and booked as a codeshare.
This trip is the first time I'm flying US operated segments since before the HP merger.

10F (and 10A) are light years better than anything in 9 on the 319 since 10A/F have something like 6 feet of legroom plus the storage run under 8A/F. - they have more than "some" legroom. Good move.

Alaska's 737-700s have this same arrangement with an "exit" row of 2 seats that has no leg room or recline, and then a row of 3 behind it. Only the two window seats have tons of legroom because of those two missing seats. The rest are pretty meh for an exit row. Glad I noticed it. Thanks.

It's amazing the things one can do with Photoshop, but changing a '3' to a '6' isn't too difficult.

10E went out empty, so 10F was absolutely a good move. Especially since I was #1 on the upgrade list (check in sequence was 8) and didn't clear. It was a codeshare so I had to do the check-in request. I think I might have cleared if I had bought as a US ticket instead of AA ticket.
