I just went for it on a PWM-CLT-LAS trip, 3x @ 2cpm. It's a refundable ticket, since for some reason refundable first (A) was about $200 cheaper RT than non-refundable first, and about $100 more than a coach ticket. I've seen that sort of pricing happen a couple of times out of here, so I figured I'd take advantage of it.
What I want to see is if the extra miles post as airfare according to Amex - where I'd essentially get another 1100 MR out of the deal, since BRG gives 3x on airfare. If not, 2cpm is basically my valuation of US miles anyway so I'd be breaking even.
