Accessing USAirways.com from an iPad (merged threads)

Does anyone else have a problem accessing the full site with an iPad? I've tried both iOS 4 and 5 and both cause a "server error" page.

There is a workaround on the iPad, go to mobile.usairways.com - but you still can't access the full site from the "view full site" link on the bottom like you can with Safari on an iPhone however.

Seems that the website auto-detects if you're on an iPhone, but not if you're an iPad.

Go into setting and choose Safari. Then click clear cookies and data. That should fix it.

This happens frequently to me. As stated, clearing the cache fixes it......but only temporarily for me.

Why only here?

Happens to me all the time too, though clearing the cache works for a couple of days. Why does it only happen to the USAir site?? Seems the glitch is on their end.

In a recent investor call/presentation, there was mention that mobile apps were in development. Let's hope this includes iPhone and iPad (which would be silly not to since those devices make up a huge market share now).

I remember reading in the US magazine a couple months back that mobile apps for iPhone/iPad and Android were coming "later" in 2012.

I guess better late than never but they would be very useful now.

I have not been able to bring up the US website on my iPad for days, I keep getting an Error Run message. Is anyone else having a problem ?

Just tried it from my iPad, works fine.

I'd try settings-> safari -> clear cache and see if that takes care of it.

If not, clear cookies too, but not before you try cache first

That is correct, you must clear your cache and that will take care of the runtime error.

It will take care of it for a couple of days..... then you will have the same problem again. Hard to believe US would not put any effort into ensuring compatibility on this rapidly emerging platform.
