15,000 miles for $750 spend Jan-March
Finally got targeted with an offer of 15k miles with 750 spend in each month Jan-March on US Airways card. Score!!!

Are these coming to people who maybe have the card..but dont use it? My mom has the card but uses it as her main CC. I dont think she has ever received one of these emails..

Earlier this year, Mrs. Redtop and I both got the promo in about the 3rd month or so of having our cards (not simultaneous).
No idea why we were picked. We were using the cards very occasionally. Not often at all, but not quite "sitting in the sock drawer."

Wish I would get one of these - only way it will get me to use the card.
I put $25k on the card immediately in Jan/Feb for the 10k Preferred Miles and then only use the card to pay taxes on award travel for the 5k mile discount the rest of the year.
I received the mailed offer for up to 2500 bonus miles in Q1 2013 (2 miles rather than 1 on certain spending). I have received a few of these during 2012, but never a 15k one.

Mine was only for 1 additional - a total of 2 miles per dollar.

Have a dilemma, I met the $750 minimum for Sept, Oct, Nov 2012 and see the 15k reward miles that will be posted to my US Dividend account on my Jan cc statement closing date. Will I be safe to modify a hotel reservation (flight change) that was booked in Sept with this card, my $66 hotels.com refund will put me $18 under the minimum for the Sept monthly spend? Of course, I will wait till my 15k bonus is posted on my Dividend account.

Many variants on this theme...mine was 5x for groceries, movies and utilities in Jan/Feb/Mar to a maximum of 5,000 bonus miles ($1000 in new purchases).

Possibly a stupid question, but does anyone know whether the $750 minimum spend is supposed to be based on the calendar month or the statement month? I know I'm registered, but I seem to have discarded the email I had with the details/links, and I'm trying to plan for this.

Calendar month. Also, the date is the transaction posted date not the transaction date.

Another data point, just received the 15k bonus postcard for $750 spend in each Feb, Mar, Apr for my card I opened in Oct last year, made a $4 purchase for the initial spend 40k bonus and put in the drawer.
My other us airways barclays card that I've been using for everyday spend got no bonus...
