It figures. 2 out of the 3 cities PIT is losing are cities that I have to routinely fly to. I guess PHL can't handle the 4 returning cities to their schedule so they dump them in PIT.

I have to chuckle too. The last BNA to PHL flight of the day usually cancels. This happened each time I was in BNA this year. I watched it happen and overheard the CSA comment on this. The BNA-PIT and BNA-CLT took up the slack. Guess US management is making yet another grand mistake before they don't have jobs anymore.

And you are complaining about this??? We all know one would rather connect in PIT than in PHL's Terminal F'ed.

Well PIT to BNA will obviously be via CLT for me. And to MHT will be on (everyone's favorite) WN only because it's the cheaper flights. And my company refuses to pay those outrageous flights into BOS for me. Still a connection in PHL but I know I'll be sitting in that 737 instead of the RJ.

Oh well.

PIT-MHT and PIT-BNA are both potential non-stop WN routes and WN already offers connecting service to both cities.

Wouldn't that be a kick in the teeth to US yet again?!? It will be interesting to see how they continue to grow here in PIT.

But I still need my "hometown" carrier to survive and take me where I need to go every day.

The service to SCE is good news. Connections west and south will be easier.

RIC goes from 3 CRJs and 2 J-41s to 6 CRJs in November this is a good improvement. FYI they will still fly 3 J-41 flights from RIC to BWI in November.

Add me to the list that's going to miss the MHT-PIT run. BOS is out of control on that route. It was nice to work a full day in Lowell, MA and be home in PIT in time for dinner.

DCA goes to 1x 737?! You're kidding me! I guess the only way to avoid PHL and actually be on mainline is CLT now . . .

Being from PIT, I'm happy (although I never fly to any of these places) but from a grander scheduling perspective, where interesting is left to connect to from PIT coming from any of these 4 routes "dumped" on PIT?

I agree. At least connecting through PIT, I could see my folks (they don't live far). But, not worth it if I am not going mainline.

There are still some RJ flights from DAY-PIT loaded in December. Im not sure they completely got rid of this service. I did notice though that the service seemed to only be on PSA and not on Chataqua or Transstates.

It is a computer error. US' November schedule change was not updated past the first week of December. Will be fixed this weekend.
