I bought tickets to Ira Glass in Charlotte. I live here and I am trying to actually use stuff I am buying for GS this year.
I am nervous about this hit because there seem to be so many things that could go wrong what with the AR account, the Carolina tix, etc. I think I read that the miles don't post until after the performance. Is that mean that it doesn't post to AR until after that or to DM?

12/11/2010 12/20/10 AUDIENCE REWARDS MILES 100
If you make a purchase, it will definitely post with the show date (the second date shown above). I believe the first date was the date it was processed by AR.
On a side note, having just gone back and looked at my activity on DM website, we have a much much shorter time period in which to get hits. Yuck.

When does the show appear under pending transactions on the AR site? I bought the Poetry Slam on Wednesday following the breadcrumb trail, credit card is showing a posted transaction, but still no listing on AR.

Two posts in a year... and you expect us to do your work?
And if you do find a cheap show, be sure to contribute it back here... I'm sure other FT'ers who haven't got this hit yet would appreciate it.

'THE MUSIC MAN' is scheduled for tomorrow, 9/16. I bought 1 age 11 and under ticket for $9.50 ai.
I can't find Music Man playing anywhere, perhaps it was a short run.
I didn't see any shows that let you purchase anything but a adult ticket.

You'll typically find the cheapest shows in the smaller cities. You can't sort by price. Just have to keep clicking on shows to find something that works. Keep in mind that shows are added regularly, so don't worry if you missed the latest cheapie that was performed on 9/16.
