I searched around and could not find any threads on this topic. Mods I apologize if this is a repeat.
I changed a O/W Award to include an LH F segment (we all know why) which forced me to change my domestic connection(s) home to SAN. The change put me in 'F' on two US flights BOS-PHL and PHL-SAN. I logged onto my MP account tonight to see that both posted along with a 50% bonus for "First Class Bonus."
When we connected in FRA and were issued our boarding passes for the rest of the trip the LH segment said 'O' and the two US segments said 'C'. I thought nothing of it but somewhere between the LH, US and UA system(s) there was a miss communication. Has this ever happened to anyone else, do you think I will lose the miles?

As I posted a short time ago in the zero miles thread, Jan. 1 UA flights (and Dec. 31 TG flight) posted sometime this evening for me. Same for the wife.
Has anyone else experienced delays in miles getting posted? I took flights on TG (1 Jan) & UA (2 Jan) - both in Business Class - but none of them have posted yet. Normally, the UA flights post within 24 hours.

UA flights no longer post within 24 hours. It's 2 days if the stars align; 3 days is most typical now. *A flights are a total crapshoot.

Well said.
Early December, my outbound leg on Taca orderly posted less than a week after the flight.
Inbound - nothing as of today (~3 wks later).
Just went through the request credit procedure...
Wow that's a long time to wait! What did the MP service center tell you?
What's weird is that the miles from my outbound flight posted within a week but not the return. You'd think since they are part of the same itin the return would also post pretty quickly!
Just to update everyone.
I called MP yesterday and I was informed that TK denied all requests. (Almost 25.000 miles), the MP agent was very nice and helpful and he took the initiative of speaking to a supervisor without me even asking.
He had me on hold for about 10 minutes and he said that they put in a request for manual posting and that it should take up to 7 days for my miles to post.
He mentioned that he would like for TK update their system as fare class "G" is definitely a valid class for accrual in the MP programm.
He said that a lot of people are calling and complaining about TK not giving credit when credit should be applied.
Coincidentally my partner's request is still pending, even though I put the request in at the same time. The agent said that maybe this is a good sign. We shall see.
Based on this topic. Does anyone know how much the airlines pay ech other per mile when a FF is flying on one airline but accruing on a different airline?
I just think that with current offers TK has, it would be difficult for them to cover their costs and pay the partner airline and op top of hat try to make a profit. Maybe that is the reason why thy reluctant of giving mileage credit?

The 1K agent cleared everything up and tried to get her supervisor to okay immediate credit (as happened with a missing LH segment earlier this year). No dice, it had to be put in the queue. Apparently, at some point the verification and posting of missing miles that didn't clear by the standard *A partner method is processed manually by a few clerks somewhere. Thus we just have to wait for our requests to get through the line. That could explain why some people seem to have to wait so long for requests to post.
The standby leg posted a few days after I called, and the reverse of that leg posted a few days after that, both SA flights purchased from SA. Still waiting on the four MS legs, all code shares from either SA or UA.
