I hope I am not breaking a long-standing FT tradition by saying the following: would it not make more sense to also include in this thread GPUs that have failed to clear the waitlist? Otherwise the data here has no significance - we have no way of telling if the sample here is a high or low percentage of total GPU attempts. I think if people posted successes and failures to this thread, we would soon get a much better idea of the situation with GPU usability...

Right - I saw that thread too - I'm just suggesting that the threads be consolidated into one... wouldn't that make more sense?
Do you know how long the theads get already? I'm sure what makes great sense is someone setting up a route specific forum and people can report there. I inquired about having a separate subforum a couple years back, similar to the US Air GS Promo subforum and in that you would populate all the possible routes with a poll to report. However that didn't go anywhere.
In the end we can only do what we can do. I never check a route success or failure before booking anyway it is too cumbersome. Someone did create a webpage to report CPU success/failure based on status. Very helpful. If you create a webpage we will all love it.)
It is more for people to either celebrate and congratulate themselves of a place to vent on missing out.

Well for me 1st ever in 5 years in advance EWR-TLV-EWR (BOS-EWR-TLV) GPU success! And after all the foulups in my last bookings! 2 GPU's were expiring on 1/31/13!
Booked 12/22 for 1/21 outbound and 1/25 return.
Fare Class M
Outbound cleared on booking (I looked for flights on EF before booking)
Return was waitlisted for R.
It cleared today 1/1/13 - a nice New Year's Day gift!
