After posting in the 2012 Domestic Let's Eat thread with a menu from 2001, I thought I might dig out a few of my other menus and post them for comparison and commentary.
Rather than take the annual thread off-topic, I invite you to join me in sharing your historical menus here in this thread. Legacy CO menus are most welcome too!

I don't think I have any menus themselves left, but does anyone else remember the "mixed grill" dinner option from the early- to mid 90s? I think it was a filet mignon, a lamb chop and pork tenderloin.
DOMESTIC first, nonetheless. I'd take that meal today in GF!

If you still have the printed menu in hand, just by the word TRANSCON is a meal code, e.g. (L01, D23).
B - Breakfast
L - Lunch
D - Dinner
The numbers have to do with the level of sophistication in the service, but I don't know the intricate details. An experienced FA could explain them. Not sure these codes have carried forward in current meal service delivery, they may have - just don't know.
Based on the fact a sandwich was being offered, I'd say this has to be a lunch menu. Sandwiches were not on the menus for dinner service.

In case people don't venture over to the Trip Reports section of FT, there's also a link to a large selection of UA menus through the years at this post. Old CO menus are available here.
