It would have looked better if it had been designed by PMUA.
admittedly it would be nice for the new carrier to have one cohesive brand image going forward, from advertising, to onboard service items and color pallets, to lounge design - even ticket stock. Legacy United was at a matured stage of this process. This, and the "UnitedHub" website, are the first glimpses into the future I've seen for the new entity. Hopefully somebody, somewhere, is envisionjng what the next livery will be

Agreed. I was just being snarky
Hopefully this is a step in the right direction. I think the lounge looks great and is an improvement over both legacy RCC and PC designs.

Looks very nice. Since the F-terminal club is my most frequently-visited one, I'm excited to see it soon...Hopefully in January.
That being said, I do hope that they start offering a better soft product, otherwise, not sure if I'll be renewing in February or not. We're already dumping my wife's spousal membership.

Look what $mi$ek did to the RCC! I miss the 1980's Hyatt Regency decor.
Did I miss anything?
Am I missing something. This does not look particularly good or bad. It is just another club. What will probably continue to stink is how crowded it will be, how crappy the little cheese in plastic will be (and how much of a mess I will make trying to rip the cheese and cracker packages open). But in terms of architecture, etc. simply renewing things will be great. Nothing like worn out carpet. holes all over the carrels, blinking, crappy fluorescent lights etc to annoy me.

I like the design. It's refreshing to see these guys do something new for a change, rather than duplicating what CO had done for 20+ years. With what we'd seen with the livery, new aircraft interiors, and logo, it would not have surprised me one bit to see the new club look like an old CO club. I'm glad they didn't do that.

No you weren't. The Hyatt Regency decor needs to go. As does the 1990's CO mahogany boardroom.
Hopefully the ordering for renovations is unrenovated RCCs, all PCs, then renovated RCCs. At least that's what I think the need is.

Didn't they can the head of marketing earlier this week?
It's not unimaginable that there may be a new logo and/or livery coming out in the next couple of years. Especially if they want to dig themselves out of this screwed up perception among frequent flyers, they may need something fresh.

I will miss the legacy UA flying museum of 2 generations of airplane paint, 3 generations of interiors (oh the rainbow seats of those 777s and flower print bathroom walls of the PS planes) of its final independent days. Nothing said cohesive brand image like that! Though it was nice nostalgia for an AV geek like me.
New lounge looks great, nice Euro feel that's a contrast to the Delta dance club...and
""The remodeling of all United Clubs is expected to take several years. United chief revenue officer Jim Compton said the airline will spend $50 million next year to renovate several more of the total 51 United Clubs."
$50mn in a year should get us several updated clubs soon...
