UA really should rename their front cabins.
Domestic First certainly isn't, and domestic Biz is Economy++ ?
And why do some 2-class domestic planes have First, and some of Biz?
Here's my suggestions, following UA's economy naming scheme:
- rename domestic First to Business (i.e. non-lie-flat)
- rename BusinessFirst to Business Plus (must have lie-flat)
- use First only in a 3-class plane
Bonus: we can refer to non-lie-flat domestic Business as Business Minus
I don't think the front cabin on the 737/A320 should be called Business or First, it's so far away from the longhaul products. How about Big Front Seat?

It's how every airline in every other part of the world does it.
Well, not really as far as short-haul flights are concerned.
Most EU "business class" treatment is a. seats very similar to E+ in UA now vs E and b. and serving food better than what they serve at E (yeah I know, food at E; what a concept)
E+ is a lot like what someone would call "business" in a short haul flight. Would there be additional $ if they renamed it "business"? Probably? But if they do that, you know the next move is: going down the US path and call every window and isle E- seat, premium and ask and extra nickel and dime for it....

One of the small carriers actually has trademarked that name and introduced it in service this year. Cannot remember who...
