Current UA Process for Prioritizing Meal Orders in Premium Cabins [2012/13]
Apparently FAs received an email that starting today 1K meal orders are supposed to be prioritized. Don't have further details. The "CO" FA that was telling another FA wasn't too happy about it.

Is the manifest showing elite status now? I think I recall that was added a few months back?
Do the CO FAs understand how the pmUA FAs did this by asking for "first choice" and taking the list back to the galley to sort it out? Rather than just ignoring the now out of stock selection when getting to the higher rows?

I just hope they will give priority to full fare customers over 1Ks. Even if that results in me not getting my meal choice.
I feel sorry for the FAs due to the much larger FF base and how will they determine who gets their choice when the entire cabin is filled with full fare customers, GS, and 1Ks?
A change I'll like, if true! I can go back to my favorite row on a 757 now.
While I would be very happy to see it return, if true. I'm not going to sing the praises of this airline for giving me back something I already had before this stupid merger...

I think their task will be much easier after Feb 1, 2013 and all the people that didn't re-qualify (because they went elsewhere) are off the elite list.

FF=1K in the PMUA days - a fair compromise
Who says that the F cabin is full of those pax these days? I bet there are fewer now due to YBs, TODs, cheap V-ups and the like
