Thumbs down Website "improvement"? (Where is this aircraft coming from link gone?)

anyone else notice that you cannot see the incoming flight anymore under flight status? I really found this useful and hope this is just an IT issue and not a permanent change.

They're probably tired of people being infuriated when the figure out that they are being fed B/S about departure times, or that their aircraft was deliberately swapped out and now they're on a "mechanical" that was supposed to be for another flight...

First, a useful title would be helpful. Something like Where is this aircraft coming from link missing.

Second, it's gone from the mobile website as well UGH! This was an entirely useful feature because I've found that UA, more than most carriers, does not use the same equipment as the inbound for the return. In other words, an ORD-SEA equipment does not return to ORD but goes to SFO. The IAH-SEA flight then goes to ORD.

Hopefully this is temporary. UA has no reason to remove this data from the traveler.

Seems to still work for UA flights.

Wow that would be really disappointing. I use it on just about every one of my flights.

The data is still there for FlightAware.com, but another to UA pulling it from their own site.

I checked my iPhone app for one of tomorrow's flights that I'm on, seems to be working fine, as it shows the incoming flight arrives tonight.

Added: just checked via United.com, and the same info is still available. I'm using IE Explorer 9.

I have two flights tomorrow and see the link on one flight but not the other. This is true on the website as well as the iPhone app.

Could be a data glitch and the site can't pull the data to list it.

I have one UX, and two mainline flights tomorrow. The UX and one of the mainline are showing up, but not the other mainline. With this in mind, I doubt UA is planning to remove this function, rather its a typical glitch that is so common on the "new" UA.

From the ones I've checked, flights up to today. seem to show it, but not starting tomorrow.

Aircraft number not even showing for my Friday connection, at least on the mobile app. Not surei want to be traveling on CRJ 700 # 0.

I'm going with "glitch" at this point vs. deliberate action given the fact it appears to be there for some flights and not others (and inconsistent--it doesn't seem IME to be limited to UX or mainline).

Still, yet another glitch. Par for the course.

Sometimes when they sub the equipment out it stops working for that flight.
