2013 Reservation Not Showing Eligible for CPU

Hi All,

I have a booked reservations with weird behavior and wanted to see anyone else is seeing this. All 2012 reservation show eligible for upgrade note in the reservation on the website. 2013 reservation does not show that.

I have one reservation that has 2012 outbound that shows eligible for upgrade and inbound in 2013 does not show that.

Has anyone else seen this behavior?

I have several 2013 reservations. All show the upgrade pending icon.

I think the general consensus is that the blue arrow is a cosmetic item and has no relevance to whether or not the EUA system really sees you. It's not like the blue arrow shows up when the EUA system has authoritatively validated you as eligible. This is unlike PMUA which showed a Pending or Waitlisted notation or DL which shows a Requested notation only when the upgrade was in the system and everything was in order.

I've had reservations fail to show the blue arrow but still EUA like they should. I've also seen reservations with the blue arrow seemingly not upgrade when they're supposed to.

I was on a call with web support on another item a couple weeks ago, and I mentioned it to the lady and asked if she'd seen it before. She said she sees it all the time and added that every time they change something, they break something.

Just a thought - have you re-qualified as Premier for next year?

This was my reaction too: if the OP hasn't requalified yet and the flight is scheduled to occur after the start of the new program year, then it isn't yet clear that the OP will be eligible for the upgrade.

I now have a 2013 res that, after a schedule change on three of the flights, no longer shows the blue arrow on 3/4 CPU eligible flights. Pretty sure that is just because of the schedule changes on them. The one that wasn't changed still shows the icon.

I think we have a winner!

Yes I am requalified for 2013.

There is a schedule change on the flight. This makes sense considering other experiences.

Same here. It seems schedule changes throw the programming off.

I just had an itin with a schedule change that the website insisted that we had to pay for E+ (PNR with 3 people, two 1Ps) for my son on a 2013 itin. I will try again tomorrow, then call. It definitely seems that schedule changes are messing things up. As a side note, both flights that are a problem went from sUA 757s to sCO 738s. The flights that were left alone still have e+ seats assigned. One of the new flights on the sCO metal had us in E- seats and the other had no seat assignments at all.

I would check back in a few days - I had a schedule change which led to the blue arrows going away, but they came back on their own within 2 or 3 days.

"Yup"! Same thing happened last weekend ---Schedule change and blue-up-arrow disappears on the changed segment, a few days later it's back!
Same thing happens when a schedule change wipes-out seats also --- But the ability to gett-em to stick, when selecting, only takes about 8 to 10 hours (for me the next Sat morning after the Fri night Scrabble game).
