2012 MileagePlus Credentials Mail Watch

With tomorrow a US holiday (Washington's birthday), it looks to me like we have 10 US Postal Service delivery days left prior to March 3rd.

Guessing that they don't want a lot of calls & problems due to late credential receipt, so new creds are probably going out early this week, if they haven't already. Especially for international members, where I would expect longer shipment times are needed.

In which case, we might expect initial receipts to begin late this week...

So, speak up:

Did you receive your 2012 MP credentials? And whereabouts do you live?

I've been thinking about this and I'm on the lookout. Sadly, I got locked out of my mailbox and won't have a replacement key for a few days.

Nope. No sticker(s) either. New York City area.

Would be slightly put off if I was planning some international travel in the next few weeks, and wanted to use the *G credentials to enter a partner airline club.

I once forgot to bring my card with me on an international trip to Johannesburg, South Africa. The South African Airways Baobab Premium Class Lounge accepted my *G status based on the UA webpage on my laptop computer showing my 1K status.

I think the idea here is to respond when you get your new 2012 credentials...not to tell us that you did not. Otherwise, everyone who has not received them will be posting and taking up space and our reading time. Since they have not yet mailed them, we all could post now that we have not received them.

Stickers to extend the 2011 cards are a separate issue and postings about them don't belong here.

I agree. Other than therapy, this thread serves little purpose.

I'm absolutely certain that the second the first FTer receives his/her packet, it will be posted in a new thread.

This just won't be fun unless they cut it a little close and make us all sweat. Seriously, though, with lots of upcoming international travel in March, a little more breathing room would make me more relaxed.

Got mine today in Japan. Interestingly enough they were mailed from Germany, not the US. Bad thing was, they sent me the wrong elite level (demotion) and they sent me the welcome pack in Japanese (can't read it). Onepass always sent my stuff in English to my Japanese address.
