Do you get 10,000 miles for Grad School Graduation or just College?

I have just graduated from Grad School, didn't see this promotion until I was way passed my 12 month period for college, and was wondering if they give you 10,000 miles if I send in my Grad School transcript?

Yes, but per the website you had to register before you graduated.

** Must be a member of College Plus prior to graduation to be eligible for bonus miles.

I registered for it and am graduating this year
To answer the question: yes, I believe so. When registering, I was asked to indicate my anticipated level of education and there is an option for "graduate/post-graduate".

I got the 10K for graduating law school, but yes, you have to register before graduating--it would be WAY too easy if you could register after graduating. (Heck, if they gave 10K a degree some of us would have a free ticket right away)

Do you mean "way past"? Hope you weren't an English major!

You can earn the bonus for each normal US college degree: BS/BA, MS (or MBA or JD), PhD (or MD). The only catch is you need to remember to re-enroll after each "graduation"!

What a great deal. I signed my wife up today. She gets her doctorate this May. Of course the irony is that UA doesn’t service her college town so she had to fly AA to get there. Get those miles where you can!

I'm glad the question came up, I totally forgot too! I got the miles for my undergrad degree, and I'll be getting MS degree in May... Just signed up for the College Plus program again.

Thanks!

Yup.

I wonder if this is the cheapest way to buy miles, though. Register, and then send $100 to some diploma mill.

I saw this and got all kinds of angry that I missed out.. having graduated only a few years ago from grad school. On the plus side, I was able to pay all my tuition on the MP visa.. so that earned a free ticket or two

I just signed up my daughter, she doesn't graduate for two more years but the 10,000 bonus miles will be nice when she does. Now all I have to do is remember to send in her transcript in 2010.

Sorry to resurect an older thread... but I didn't see the need to create a new one.

FYI, mrs_1780 finished a transition of a BS to a BSN (she's had her BS for several years)... anyway, A while back I signed her up for College+... after her most recent graduation (late April), I sent in her transcript... the other day 10K was dumped into her account ^
