the weather for sure, but I've had this happen to me, then tried calling again and got through reasonably quickly.

Ouch! I remember during the DEN snowstorm wait times were around two hours, IIRC.

Lucky, I can remember it taking that long to get out of the parking lot in DEN, let alone the 6 hour 15 mile trip home
Last Saturday morning (3-10-07) I was on hold 36 minutes
Maybe fewer 1K CSR's on a weekend

I just called and got told 40 minutes, then called back and got somebody almost immediately. Some sort of bug?

Seven minutes MAX
In my experience, I am willing to hold the line for only seven minutes MAX. I then hang up, re-dial, and take my chances. Usually I connect to a live agent almost instantly. Never, ever hold. Simply re-dial.

ditto for me. I was only hold but didn't hear the wait time. I waited 12 minutes. Called back and 1 minute later I got through. At first I thought it was the ICC but turned out it was somewhere in the US.

not only was I on hold for 20 minutes the Web site has been down for 8 hrs or at least I cant access from HKG for the last 8 hrs and i have tried the 1k line 3 times..... something must be broken....
