My account on audit, what???

So I try logging into my MP account on ual.com, and it just won't work. I call UAL and they tell me that my account is on audit and I will be receiving something in the mail within a few days (3 weeks ago, I never got anything).

The people on the phone can not help me at all. What is this about?

Thanks

Have you booked award travel for third parties recently?

Any unusual travel/purchase patterns?

Just fishing for likely scenarios....

That's dangerous stuff! The #1 component in acid rain and responsible for thousands of deaths each year! I can see why TSA and United wouldn't want it on board.

I agree! And the worst part is the Metal detectors wont pick it up, making it extremely dangerous! It can turn into a deadly gas quickly.

Nesting?

Another question to ask the OP is whether he/she has sold any of his/her miles, whether it be to another individual or to a mileage brokerage service...

Read all of the thread and the last chapter seems to be missing.

What was the outcome of the audit? What did they do?

Excellent point!

OP: If you are a student at NYU who sells upgrades, which I believe was discussed here before, that might explain it.

I think I remember this from perusing upgrade sales on eBay a month or two ago when a topic on upgrade selling came up here on FT. Maybe I have the seller wrong... I do remember never having seen the term "time verified" before and it stuck out in my memory.

If so, that might explain the current issues...

based on this part of your website, it's pretty clear (at least to me) why they're auditing your account now!

Not to mention that it's one of those elusive chemicals that can be safely transported by comsuming it! I am always afraid of the passenger next to me somehow being loaded up with a belly full, ready to pop!
