It looks like he's going to be on the Today Show on NBC in a few minutes. It's 8:09 am ET and they just did a tease for an upcoming (this morning) piece on (paraphrase) "an airline pilot who goes above and beyond" for his passengers. Clearly UA's media relations/PR folks have been at work.

update: The segment will be on between 8:30 and 9:00 Eastern.

BTW, Captain McFadden was also a guest along with Captain Flanagan on GMA! Looks like they picked two great people!

Here is the one for the Early Show

I am having trouble with the Today show coverage. (for the easier way, just scroll down 3 posts to TonySCV's post. There is the real link there) But, I think this is the way to get to the video. First go to todayshow.com. Then, copy this and paste it onto the where you type in the website's address:

What a great interview. They managed to work all of their talking points into the conversation and even mentioned channel 9.

to ABC for using outdated b-roll footage of taxiing TWA mad-dogs.

I'm encouraged. Obviously a PR activity, but aimed at two groups of people, I think: PAX and UA FC.

If he's right and its contagious, this would be a very, very good thing.

when i play it, the audio cuts out for a couple of seconds as she's talking about capt denny handing out personalized greetings to everyone in first class and...??? what does she say next? elite flyers or something?

i watched all three online. great stuff! also good to see the other pilot (mcfadden) being recognized on GMA as well.

Watching Letterman right now and nothing so far. Anyone know if he's really going to be on, or if that's just a myth? The other three were right...

I only saw from Top Ten onwards and no Captain Flanagan.
