With a nod to Kurt and globetrekker84 for the previous year's compilations:
Generally speaking, domestic flights with food service in Economy Class can be broken down into these types:

2) Mainline flights between 2.0 hours and 3.0 hours:
3) Mainline flights over 3.0 hours:
4) New Brunch Menu on p.s. Flights

Snackbox and a-la-carte selections can be found on this page:

Buy-on-Board meal selections can be found on this page:

Please note that ALL inter-continental, intra-Asia, and intra-Australia international flights in Economy Class feature complimentary meal service.
I have found some sample economy class menus that were previously available on the United Japan site.

Anyone know what the LFML meal is on HKG-SFO? For reference, here's the regular meal: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/15002388-post41.html

Economy meals - chicken or fish ( fish ??? )
the usual plain plain plain green salad. How much 1/2 a cherry tomato cost ? just to give it some color from green Dessert was some apple thing .. hard to recognize
Breakfast was the mcmuffin thing ... why from NRT do you get a sort of "regular" breakfast and not mcmuffin?
Meals are slipping even more ( if possible ) I thought they were going to improve TPAC meals in Y - apparently just a rumor.
No beverage service after departure, everything was just rolled into dinner ( and I use that word cautiously ).

UA875 SEA-NRT B777
Lunch, Lunch
First Meal (after take-off)
Both meals served with green salad (asian sesame vinaigrette dressing)
Packaged roll (cold) with butter
Oatmeal Chewy Bar (packaged)
Commentary: Seattle catering must have had a recent visit by a Cost Control Engineer. What formerly was a chicken breast, is now a processed chicken patty (ie McDonald's chicken nuggets). Potatoes are now unseasoned (recommend using the butter provided for the cold roll).
Mid-Flight "Snack"
Second Meal (prior to landing)
Both meals served with crisps (Pop Chips).
Commentary: Turkey sandwich (served warm) with melted cheese on a sub-style roll. This is identical to the "hot turkey sandwich" served in domestic F, as reported in 2010.

UA875 NRT-SIN B777
Dinner
Dinner Meal (after take-off)
Both meals served with green salad (thousand island dressing)
Packaged roll (cold) with butter
Cookies & Cream Brownie (packaged)
Commentary: Bulgogi Chicken turned out to be three pieces of chicken meat cooked with skin on and lathered in some sort of sweet sauce. Served on a bed of rice with sliced boiled baby bamboo shoots, carrots, green beans, and spinach. This was the significantly better than what was served ex-SEA. A big ^ to NRT catering.

Anyone care to report what the dinner and snack service is in Y on the LIM-IAH route?

The economy class snack while crossing the Pacific is probably the worst snack offered on any airline in the world....a bowl of noodles laden with chemicals which probably cost the airline no more than 5 cents. Terrible,

UA Y meal HKG-SGN: Is it dinner or a snack?
First time flying UA internationally, always been a Delta guy but starting to reconsider...Anyhow, I'm booked in Y on flight 869 HKG-SGN 04/14. UA shows this flight as being a snack, but EF has it listed as dinner. Anyone know what UA usually offers on short Intl. routes such as this one?
