MAKATI CITY & PUNE MAHARAS IL appear to be web support locations that will results in EQM credits

No, it was the Filipino call center that shot me down.

The web support center question was referring to EQM credits for MP Platinum Visa credit card purchases. Different issue

Concerning your problems on DEQM promotion problems with a mixed UA/*A itinerary, given others have had no issues getting DEQM for UA portion, suggest you call again. Perhaps call the MP Customer Service in USA, +1-605-399-2411 (or +1-800-421-4655) during normal business hours for Central Time Zone for USA. Ask for a supervisor.

This denial for a mixed itinerary does not seem right, they may be another problem, but from my read and experience of others the *A flights should not disqualify the UA flights.

I hate the taste of CROW!

...but I must inform you that I found out that MP was correct to deny me access to this promo.

I overlooked the appropriate clause before posting here, so I apologize to you all who took the time to help.

The clause is: Offer is only valid on new reservations booked between March 19 and June 15, 2009.

I booked the $74 EWR-BRU-EWR on February 26.

On the other hand, it is good to see that the folks at Mileage Plus are doing the right thing. But in this case, it took 3 calls before someone was able to tell me which condition was violated, but it was found.

Thanks again to you all.

There was a promo that was an addendum to the original promo that would have made the original promo valid for all bookings, new or not. Had you registered for this "secret" promo in addition to the original promo, you would have received credit (didnt read your earlier post, I'm assuming you were on UA metal via IAD)

I'm starting the planning for a longer trip to ICN & Korea next May or June and wanted to ask the experts on UA forum whether the spring DEQM is an annual promo? I know there's no guarantees there'll be another one next Spring but just wanted some input on whether similiar travel dates would be expected for next year and I'll try and make the trip work for late May and into first few days of June 2010. Thanks!

There have been no standard dates for DEQMs. Most have been toward the end of the year. Last year's spring was the first spring one I'm aware of. All of these are triggered by one competitor or another seeing a need -- and not as standard feature each year.
So any speculation on next year is speculation.

SO never received the miles (I did). I just spent the last 2 hours on the phone with mileage plus AND web support, and was told I am SOL. Mileage Plus said I can e-mail the screen that says "thank you for registering" (anyone have a copy somewhere?). This seems a bit ridiculous to waste 2 hours of my time for a promotion which should have been applied to the account. Any other ideas or tips?

Assuming you're talking about the fall DEQM promo, you could have your SO go to the DEQM promo on .bomb and re-register.

Registration is permitted up until 12/15/2009, and the mileage credit will be retroactive for all flights taken during the promo period (9/3 - 12/15). They should start posting the first Friday morning after registration.

I am talking about the spring promo (3/19-6/15). I cannot go on and re-register. MP is giving me a very hard time about this.

Anyone? I'm guessing she's SOL, but I thought if anyone would know how to fix this situation it would be flyertalk.
