I e-mailed 1K Voice about 24 hours ago, and still no auto-response. Should I be worried? I got an auto-response the last time I e-mailed (which was to 1P Voice). The auto-response came immediately and a real (and meaningful) reply came within 24 hours. So, 1K is already feeling like a downgrade in this area.

My last experience was no auto-response but a real reply within 24 hours ... YMMV

Not really new, this has occurred to me in the past and in some case got a regular response in 24-48 hours and in one case no response. Have insufficient data to formulate a theory but the lack of auto-response seems to have been at times outside normal business hours.

Two weeks, two follow up emails from me asking for acknowledgement...nothing. I have found 1KVoice to be VERY hit and miss, but not getting back to me (even with one of those annoying auto-responses) is very frustrating.

Wow, now you have two legitimate complaints to pursue! That's an outrageous response and ought to serve as a shining example of why UA should not be offshoring customer support of any kind for 1Ks. Insane.

[email protected] - No response

Has anyone had problems getting a response from emails to [email protected]?
I sent an email a week ago - no response.
I sent another email yesterday - no response.

I tried to go to the .bomb ual.com website to send email using their website Contact Us page and got this error: http://faq.ua2go.com/sessiontimeout.aspx
(and, it was not user error - I typed the message in twice within 60 seconds - no timeout possible)

Seriously, is letter or carrier pigeon the way to go with UAL?

Me too. Not only did I get a response in 36 hours, but it was a well-researched response, including details I had not provided in my e-mail.

Did you include your 1K MP FF number in your correspondence? I contacted them yesterday and heard back today (although for the first time I did not receive the automated response confirming receipt of my original submission). I always close with my full name and 1K FF number and I usually hear back in ~24-48 hours. I think the longest a response took was four or five days.

1K Voice still exists?

Must be getting mellow in old age as I have not complained is some time. Does the 1K voice still exist? Popped for the $150 change fee to escape LGA a day earlier to get kicked with a 3 hour eqpt delay. (after asking if it was on time) If 1KV is dead, where the best point to politely explain my feelings?

1K Voice still answers

Although I no longer hear from specific CR specialists with emails like
1KVoice2 etc. In fact, was surprised and delighted last week. Wrote a non-.....y email explaining that my daughter and son-in-law were flying on my award miles in First and, because of schedule changes ended up with RJs and a coach segment. I didn't demand anything, just asked whether it seemed right and fair. I got a PHONE CALL for a delightful UA CR agent who pretty much asked me what I wanted, and whether I wanted it for me or for the "kids" - I chuckle a bit because my son in law is a Marine captain who has done multiple tours in Iraq and isn't really a kid!!!!

I didn't push -- she offered two vouchers for them, I accepted and the whole deal left me pleased. Hope you write 1KVoice and have a similar expereince!

Check your 'spam' box

Once recently I had e-mail from 1KVoice land in my Gmail account's spam folder.

They responded within 24 hours, but I actually forgot about my question and didn't get back to it for a couple of days when I was doing a "in:spam to:me" search.
