No evening flight SFO-LAS in the summer???

Am I viewing the schedule correctly - I can't find the normal evening flight from SFO to LAS during the summer. I see an afternoon flight around 3pm and a late night flight around 10pm. Usually there's like a 6 or 7pm if I recall. Would seem to be a popular flight choice - go after work and enjoy your summer days in Vegas. How can this be? (I just checked 3 days in July)

Friday, July 1 or Friday July 8

3:55 PM SFO - 5:21 PM LAS
United 460

8:11 PM SFO - 9:38 PM LAS
United 495

10:35 PM SFO - 12:02 AM LAS
United 455

Checked Tues/Wed July 5 and 6, and the 8:11pm departure is missing.

By the way, who enjoys those 110+ degree summer days in Vegas?

Why would they do that? That is my favorite flight! Well, one of my favorite flights. If going to Vegas, it's definitely my favorite flight.

LAS is low-yield. The plane is probably being better utilized elsewhere.

Isn't it a bit too early to be assuming this is the finalized schedule? If sales are good maybe they'll add it back.

Exactly. Probably not too many people in SFO plan their quick trips to enjoy the summer in Vegas this early.

Since nobody knows what will happen with lifetime status (except that it will change), I wouldn't base a decision on that part. For all we know, CO flights could end up counting double!

I believe CO miles do count toward lifetime BIS as of the first of the year.

There have been no announcements concerning lifetime status at all. However, since lifetime status on UA and CO are counted so differently, there certainly should not be a 1-to-1 correspondence.

Well, since on many of the UA narrow body planes the E+ sets aren't close to a lav, I don't know how this impacts you that much

Besides, surely by then they'll have upgraded the CO fleet to E+
