SFO-FLO route help: Need alternative - SFO-MYR or CAE?
Hello folks,
I need to fly SFO-FLO-SFO (Florence, SC); would like to fly United metal if possible but I'm finding it impossible to fare it within reasonable price range. Example: SFO-IAD-CLT-FLO-CLT-IAD-SFO with SFO-IAD on UA, rest on US = $700 vs. SFO-FLO all on US = $300.
I'm thinking about flying SFO-CAE-SFO or SFO-MYR-SFO instead; any suggestions on which airport is better to drive into Florence, SC?

CAE is a farther drive, but it's all interstate whereas 501 getting out of MYR can be a total nightmare in the summer.

That's all in? Wow, I'm surprised that you can do a transcon for $300 nowadays.
