The current information on UA.com indicates TPAC flights still offer free alcoholic beverages.

http://www.united.com/page/article/0,6867,1134,00.html

"Alcoholic beverages available for purchase on all flights (complimentary on international trans-Pacific flights and flights within Asia)"

But that screen shot from the production server sure suggests that will change soon.

I just noticed the "Wines, beer and spirits available for purchase."

Bummer! I'm heading to Bangkok via Frankfurt August 8.

My last trip abroad was Sep 4, 2011: Bangkok, Narita, Chicago, GSO. Thank god for the complimentary red wine; we hit the tail end of a typhoon and I thought the palne would snap in to...

You will not find anything in writing regarding the routes which still have freeze booze. Nothing on united.com and nothing in Hemispheres that I can find. According to FA on my SYD flight it is still transpac and intra-asia.

BTW: there is a thread on this in the post-merger UMP forum. Don't understand why these pre-merger forums continue to run.

LH is still a full bar/no charge (apart from Champagne) airline. The same is with TG (or with any other Asian airline). From Europe only LO/FI/SU charge for booze on TATL flights, SK/AY have limitation in number of drinks you could have, though.
