NC2 and NF0 on a 2 class A320??

Flying IAD-BOS this week on a 2 Class A320. Looked at My Reservation and see that I am Waitlisted NF on a 2 Class Flight. Do a dummy booking for reward space in Expert Mode and it shows NC2 and NF0. Have you seen that before? Called the Premier Desk and they say its correct as its for connecting International Passengers that may be booked in C all the way thru? Does not make sense to me, to you??
