Nanirina, I'm happy for you!! That's great. 'T' is listed in the 100% EQM earning column, so that is no big surprise. How long did it take for EQMs to appear? Did you book OP or UA?
I posed this mileage question on another travel forum, and one person said that the K and S fares on my UA reservations may equal different fare buckets on Swiss. I've sent Swiss an email to ask if miles will be earned. Fingers crossed.
I regularly fly between Washington, DC and Doha, Qatar for work. In order to get the EQMs I don't travel on Qatar Airways (there's a direct flight), but use United and Lufthansa instead. I've never had trouble getting EQM credit on these flights until my last trip when the entire return leg wasn't credited because of the class of flights on Lufthansa. Is this a new policy and is there anyway to protest the denial?
I just got nailed on this one. WAS-FRA-BIO all on one ticket and booking never noticed the fare classs on the Fra Bio LH flight was differnt from the UA Transatlantic.
Here's my dilemma. Not sure if I can do anything about it.
I've got the following flights that i booked on UA. The first three legs are on LH, the last on CO.
Booking classUALH
EWR-FRA(LH) T T
FRA-IST(LH) T S
OTP-MUC(LH) L T
MUC-EWR(CO) L L
I'm chairman's on US, dirt on UA and CO. I don't need the EQM's for US, so I'm trying to maximize the miles. I currently have my US FF# on their so I can get *G benefits at the airport. Any ideas? The charts are too confusing. Not sure if I can just use my US # on the CO flight and my UA/CO on the others.

Yes, I will always call it US Air whether you like it or not.

The way I read the charts you will not get the credit for the "T" - transatlantic fare for any of UA/CO/US. You will on the intra Europe "T" assuming its a connection. The "S" fare you should credit to UA or CO.
