United=crappiest airline ever

Ever had a terrible experience on United? I have. Flying CVG-DEN on CRJ-700 economy plus. No snacks not even peanuts! One drink service! On a 3:45 minute flight.

I also dislike the long haul on these smaller planes, it seems they don't offer much and I get uncomfortable quick because of the smaller cabin. I'm guessing the margin for United is through the roof though.

Was it just the fact that they didn't have anything to offer or was the service sub-par as well?

Wow...you call this terrible experience......
Please fly with me from MCI to EWR on CO's ERJ-145 and you will have new experience. No water to wash your hand for a 3 hours flight and the lavatory door can't be closed .....

I've had lots of bad experiences on many airlines. Your flight was probably not on United but on GoJet, operated as United Express on a United code-share. Yes, a lot of time on a CRJ-700 makes for an uncomfortable flight, but what were you expecting? You know you can ask flight attendants for another beverage if you're thirsty, right? BTW - I believe this flight typically is scheduled for 3 hours, not 3.75 - did you have serious headwinds?

So you're saying a tiny bag of peanuts would have made that huge of a difference?

And +1 to fzwinter's comment, you can always ask for an extra beverage.

You're joking, right? Try flying in regular Economy. Also, I am dying to know which legacy airline offers meal service in coach between CVG and DEN, making your United flight seem so horrible by comparison.

Had they served you peanuts, we would have had three threads started by the peanut allergy police decrying the lack of sensitivity that UA has for people with nut allergies.

United Express is not United. It is a contract carrier just like Delta Connection. Your profile says you are a Delta Flyer.

At least you were leaving Cincinnati......

Seriously, I guess you could have taken a mainline non-codeshare flight through ORD if that would have worked for you. I try to avoid the regional jets for anything over a two hour flight.

And the other posters are right, the limited peanut availability on most flights really ticks me off and you can ask for another drink. But then you would have to possibly shoehorn yourself into a regional jet lavatory and that can be a thrill.

Perhaps I'm confused, but it seems the OP is complaining about a flight - why would they want to post in the website complaints thread?

Not That Bad!

Although I agree with most of the other posters that point out that this flight probably doesn't qualify as a really "bad" flight, I have found there are other airlines and some of them seem to be doing a nice job with customer service and flight quality.
