STOPOVER POLICY

I am a Delta skymiles person - but United is a Delta partner - Could someone please explain how the STOPOVER policy works on an award ticket.

On a roundtrip from SMF-EWR-SMF could you please tell me what would be the exceptable STOPOVER cities.

Or could you please tell me how I would figure this out.

Thanks

Not allowed on domestic awards.

"One stopover en route to your final destination or one open jaw is permitted for a flight award on United between the continental U.S. and Hawaii or between the U.S. and the Caribbean, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Central and South America or Europe. No stopovers are permitted within a geographic region."

Thanks - I see the "SAVER" does not allow a stopover - BUT the "STANDARD" does.

Bummer

Thanks again
