Did anyone get their early SWUs? I certainly did not. I went from 99.8k to 100.3K on Friday............

Customers who have qualified by October 8, 2004, will have their four SWUs deposited into their accounts by October 15, 2004.

I'm sure they (UA) interpret the statement "by Oct 15th" to mean on October 15, 11:59 PM PST.

I read the UA statement with surprise! I am pleased to see that UA adopted the idea floated on FT about lifting the cap on earning SWU's.
I claimed 6 months ago or longer, that M+ should do this to reward high-flyers, and bring M+ into par with the LH M&M program where upgrades were earned by flying 50,000 miles. Ironically, in August, LH switched the earning of Upgrades to 2 per status requalification @ 2years.
The only FTer at the time to post a note of agreement was Prem Ex, what a powerful advocate for M+ members he seems to be! I write this because someone 'very well connected' must have suggested it to MP.

Looks like United has reworded the statement at the 1K Only Web Site on the advance of the 4 2005 Systemwides, to clarify the concerns on the floating expiry dates:
As a valued 1K member, you can now enjoy this exclusive opportunity.
Starting the week of October 11, 2004—and continuing until December 15, 2004—if you qualify for 2005 1K status, you will have four of your six 2005 Systemwide Upgrades (SWUs) deposited automatically into your account. The other two SWUs will be deposited into your account in January 2005.
Please Note:
SWUs issued in October will initially have an expiration date of October 31, 2005.
SWUs issued in November will initially have an expiration date of November 30, 2005.
SWUs issued in December will initially have an expiration date of December 31, 2005.
If these early-issue SWUs are not used this year, the expiration dates will change, in early January 2005, to January 31, 2006. So rest assured that all six of your SWUs are valid through January 2006.
