No, you will only earn RDM for the second seat. EQM are earned per passenger, not per seat.

Updated S* code on standby?

I have a BOS-LAX-YVR non-refundable itinerary, which was the cheapest one when I bought it for my trip to YVR. I thought I could stand by a same-day BOS-SFO/DEN/ORD-YVR flight which can get me to YVR a few hours earlier according to S*FAR/STANDBY, current as of 10 August 2005. However, an agent on 1K reservation told me yesterday that international itinerary with change of connection is not eligible for such stand by.

Last week I did successfully confirm my standby earlier BOS-DEN-YVR from the booked BOS-ORD-YVR at the airport after I failed to confirm the stand by on 1K reservation over the phone.

I am wondering whether there is an updated version of S* available on this issue for reference, so I can follow the rules instead of abusing the courtesy of airport agents.

When I show up early I just ask a GA if I can standby for earlier to open up a seat for later. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. The intl flight and current travel restrictions/fears may be throwing a wrench into your practical plans. The issue comes when they can't see a way to get you a seat for each segment along the way.

One time she didn't have seat all the way but I took it so I could spend more time in Denver. My cousin then had time to buy me dinner at the airport. If you would like my cousin to buy you dinner just ask her.
