Reviving this old thread to ask if I can book one way award ROR-HNL on CO in BF?
If so, how many miles for this award in J - I cannot find Micronesia on the UA award chart.
TIA

First, no BF ROR-GUM. Just domestic F

For regions see here: http://www.united.com/page/article/1,,53370,00.html
Palau is Oceania.

Simply from the award chart, a one way from Oceania to Hawaii is 70k business one way. Its actually only 60k from Oceania to North America. Go figure.

Thank you.
That's pretty outrageous, considering that ROR-GUM is a short 2 hour flight (especially with domestic F) and it is almost double of the GUM-HNL award.
I think I will just get a o/w from GUM to HNL - it should be 40,000 in J

UA launches one-ways on star partners.

I know there is a thread on this topic started when one-way awards were allowed on UA metal, but used the word "one-way" and "One way" but could not seem to find it, so mods please merge if you see fit.

Only downside, one has to call in. Hope we can book one-way US and CO flights on ua.com soon

The ability to book o/w awards on Star partners has been around since October.

O/w awards on other partners would be news!

Available on LH

I don't know what *A partners are included, but I booked a one-way trip from TXL to FRA in C aboard LH next December, so if you're looking to hop around to and from, or even with the EU, it's available now.

Happy travels!

This is not new, as mentioned above it's been around for 3-4 months. I believe it came into being at the same time changes started to be allowed for *A itins.

When did this happen? Goodness, just when I almost empty my UA stash do they start making serious improvements. But starnet still drives me away.

I just booked a one way award on LH for this summer FCO-MUC... only issue is it cost the full 25,000 miles as a standard award.

I almost booked a RT trip where I would have gained more by booking 2 one-ways.

If you wait til the end of the year, I assume all the miles will be merged between CO and UA and then you can use them for all the OW award you want.

If it drives you away, why are you still booking?
