N121UA is the tail number.

Fingers crossed on my two 744 flights later this week - N105UA and N175UA.

Well that's a new delay reason. On U909 ORD-AMS. About to board and they announce that the captain went to move his seat getting ready for the flight and the seat broke. Expecting at least an hour delay to swap it out. Do they really keep spare captain seats for a 763 at ORD?

I know they keep A320 seats at DEN, so no reason not to have 767 (and 757, I'd bet - interchangeable) seats at the HQ Hub.

A couple of months ago my ORD-FRA flight was ready to push back when the pilot announced that they couldn't communicate with the ground crew and they had to figure out the issue, which took about 30 minutes.

I'd take the 1 hour delay vs today's DL109 MAD-ATL which was cancelled.

Tropical Storm Roke slammed directly into Hong Kong, with "maximum" sustained winds of 35 knots/40 mph/65 km/h. Nobody's getting any real wind, but the Number 8 Signal in town is creating transportation problem for crew and passengers. 896/ORD and 862/SFO are about an hour late despite 896/SIN arriving early. 180/EWR, however, was on time because the Number 8 wasn't until an hour before scheduled departure.
