Predictions on CyberMonday fare sale?
I can't recall whether the major airlines typically participate in CyberMonday sales.
Any predictions on whether to expect UA's fares to go down over this weekend?

expedia and orbitz both had killer hotel deals last year. if airlines do anything, expect it to be the typical "weekly savers" email fare. maybe you'll see something decent from a LCC.
FT's MR forum and "the blogs" will almost always beat promoted fares 365 days/yr. B6 did run a $31 deal for this past halloween that included transcon fares with good availability.

LOL! As if...
It would honestly surprise me for UA to offer any kind of fare sale targeted at Cyber Monday that isn't their usual non-sale or last-minute "deals" list.
I suppose they could do a "save 5k RDM on economy saver awards to Europe" "sale" or something.

I received an email today from AAVacations promoting a Black Friday event, so it wouldn't surprise me if United Vacations does something similar.

Air China is having a Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale with limited seats available in Economy and Business (4/2). Started at midnight and goes through Monday.

Here's the Cyber Monday Sale:

I don't fly domestically much (usually to/from Canada) so I can't judge whether there are any good deals here.
Thoughts on whether this was a real sale?

I got an email about cheap fares to Hawaii for travel between December to Early March. Not really applicable to me so I didn't really look at the details / fine print.

I guess UA's revenue managers decided that there is enough motivation for people to escape Chicago's frozen months that they didn't need to add any fare incentives ex ORD.
