So the Dreamliner isn't what it's cracked up to be, at least if you're flying economy?

Boeing sells a ton of them because airlines can cram more seats in the back?

Yes, they're quite efficient for high-density medium-capacity long-haul travel.

Great plane for small framed people, not me.

FWIW I was told today by a pilot it was announced this week internally SFO-CDG is being up gauged to a 3 class 777 by next summer. I just checked, it's not loaded on the site, but he showed me a spreadsheet with the summer 2016 aircraft allocations and sure enough it was listed as a 777.

I'm very happy ORD remains a primarily 3-class, 777/747/767 intl hub. Please keep the 787s and other 2-class planes away from us as long as possible!

You'll get a few more years in, but when it ends, it's gonna end fast. I've grown up to UAL being nothing other than a 3-class carrier, so for me personally it's going to take time to accept.

They've got a plan:

1 - first, slim down your passengers by serving nothing good/free to eat
2 - second, put in narrower seats
3 - go to step 1

LAX-LHR 772 again?

When I booked LHR-LAX earlier this year it was on the 772, then it changed to 789, today I see it's back as 772 ( trip is in June 2016 ).

It's mentioned on the first page of this thread that United will fly SFO->HND with a 789.

I couldn't find evidence of this anywhere else though. Can someone share a link please?

The 789 is loaded in to the schedule for this route starting 1 Aug 2016.

I have access to OAG so I looked it up there. Otherwise you're at the whim of various other public sites to do lookups until you find where it changes.
