This year I finally found a great use for miles - gonna use them to tip my doormen at Xmas. (New Years since they are mostly Muslim). We have 12 doormen in our building (In Dubai) who make little $$ & sometimes can't get home for 2 years & see family (India, Pakistan, Etc) - instead of AED50 in an envelope a tkt for them would be much more appreciated (and possibly help me if reincarnation is what really happens at the end
