Odd routing multiple airlines

Odd routing multiple airlines
Hey,
so at the end of July i'm trying to go to HKG. On my way home i want to fly through CDG for a few day layover.
I can find a Swiss/Luffansa flight offering that does this but it includes a 10+ hour layover in germany going to HKG.
Is there a way to find this flight plan with a united direct flight to HKG and then the swiss or lufansa flights home?
booking this in two different segments costs like $12k.
the swiss luffas flight costs under $6k for all the stops and the united direct both ways is about $8k.
i'm looking for
NYC-> HKG July 25 (arriving on 26)
HKG-CDG July 29
CDG-NYC August 3rd
any help would be appreciated
