United Paypal Trick Issues?
Hey all, tried using the paypal trick to hold an award, but while it managed to generate a record locator trying to view it generates an error. Has anyone else run into this?

Perhaps you should not start a thread on sensitive issues.

Geez...let's fly to GUM via NRT while we are at it....

Gary Leff blew that one wide open last week so I don't think this thread can do any more damage...

I just tried the trick and it works fine (thank god).

So speaking of such things, I think the new website broke the trick.

I tried on Chrome and Firefox on a Mac. Same result:

I went to pay for a complicated itinerary with PayPal and it canceled all the flights. If PayPal is meant to be a payment option on the new site, they've made a mistake in configuring it.

So, is the PP trick finished on the new improved website?

I just tried to apply it for the first time on the new platform, but no record...

Has anyone gotten it to go?

It's dead. Just like the phone order link. Look for Western Union, for there is no other viable option.

I've played around quite a bit and cannot find a way to place an all-partner award flight on hold using any of the old tricks.... any advice?

Pay cash doesn't work? I use that for 24 hour+ hold on paid reservations at least...

On this ticket is says that the only options are PayPal and Visa Checkout (or credit card). I guess it has to do with being on all partner metal.
