RNE, so tired of the years-old "changes you'll like" play on words. Get creative!

Has this been fixed? I just tried an award search IAD-NRT, specified non-stop on the "more options" page (un-checked 1-stop and 2-stop) and the only results that showed up on each of the calendar dates I picked were the two non-stops. Each also displayed at least saver first or saver business for the green highlighted dates.

Just sent feedback requesting that they add the option to specify a minimum connection time (in addition to the existing options involving specifying preferred connecting airports or those to avoid)...I can't find it, but heck, I might be inept.

Aircraft type is now visible without a clickthrough... glad to see some early feedback implemented already.
I would like to see lowest available roundtrip pricing added back, perhaps as a feature which can be toggled. I don't mind segment-by-segment pricing, but in situations where the outbound is priced comparatively lower than the return, I don't want to have to wait until selecting a return segment to get an idea of what the pricing situation is. I'd rather see a segment-by-segment price and whole-itinerary pricing, even if that feature is not defaulted but user-enabled.
Also, when changing search parameters from the results page with advanced options selected (e.g., upgrade, search by fare basis, etc.) it seems that the advanced options selected are purged with a successive search. It would be a lot easier for me to retain those choices. An example would be when searching for upgrade available on segments individually from EWR-Europe, or SFO-Asia to avoid married segment logic for R inventory. When I change SFO-PVG (search 1) to SFO-NRT (search 2) from the results page, my previous selection for a GPU from the advanced search (toggled for search 1) seems to purge from the results in search 2. Hopefully people can follow that... I can clarify if necessary.

I'm having a problem using Vouchers. I can't seem to enter one for 2015. And some of my vouchers are longer than the acceptable character length.

I submitted the same feedback last week.

I booked my first real ticket using the beta site yesterday after playing around with it for awhile.. in this instance I booked a one way ticket for a friend (I was logged in as myself) from LAS-SFO-SEA in April. A few observations:
1. As another poster mentioned..unlike the current system the price displayed is for each flight rather than on a round trip basis. I get why they did it this way but I kind of liked the old way better.
2. Using the old system when I booked a ticket for someone else (whose info is stored in my profile) their itinerary would automatically show up in my list of stored reservations. But when I booked through the beta site I had to manually add his reservation to my account after the fact...it appeared under his login but not mine.
The ticketing took about 1 minute..that part was good.
Another observation from playing around a little bit.. it doesn't appear they've fixed the issue where upgrade R space is incorrectly zeroed out when married with a segment that has no R space. For example, when booking SEA-ORD-LHR... if SEA-ORD is R0 but ORD-LHR is R9.. it will show both flights as R0 unless you view them separately. I'm guessing this beta site is essentially a new GUI and the underlying SHARES problem still needs to be fixed.
I like the new site and look forward to getting more used to it.. the ability to restrict flight options to certain times and connecting airports is useful.
I also look forward to seeing the rest of it beyond just the booking engine portion.

However, I'm wondering if you used the "Search for upgrade using GPU" option whether the site would tell you SEA-ORD would be waitlisted but ORD-LHR was available right away. Did you try this? Results?

I just booked my first ticket on the beta site (well, 24 hours ago but finally just getting online to post about it). Had to report several bugs:
1. The bold text at the bottom of the bookings page said the fare was non-refundable. Indeed it's a refundable J ticket and I confirmed through the fare rules. I booked it and called UA this morning to confirm and they agree it's a refundable and changeable ticket. So apparently the beta website either just defaults to it saying it's a non-refundable ticket or it couldn't read the fare rules right.
2. Clicking through to see the fare rules is a disaster. They are completely unformatted and impossible to read.
3. The search results page shows flights in an individual trip out of order. For example it shows xxx-IAD-ORD-DEN-SEA as an available return. However, it lists the flights as xxx-IAD, IAD-ORD, DEN-SEA, ORD-DEN. I think it's doing this because ORD-DEN-SEA is a through flight number.
4. Getting really tired of having to sort by price every time I do a search. The results page always reverts to "best matches". WTH is "best matches" anyway and in whose option is it the best? Can't stand it and really need to sort by price by default, period.
5. The home page remembers your last search but always defaults to economy. It will not remember I was searching J class last time. Old web page remembers cabin as well.
6. The 747 over the mountains and near the water labeled "Boeing 747-400 above Seattle, WA" is nowhere near Seattle in that photo. Seattle doesn't have "rolling" hills like that right up against the water. I suspect it's much closer to SFO.
There's a lot more but this covers it. Overall I like the new website and very glad they listened to my feedback about including the aircraft type right there in the search results. I'm sure many others complained about that as well.
