Green salad was quite large with red and yellow bell peppers. Sorry not to remember the name of Indian dish, but it was s veg curry with what appeared to be some sort of delicious cheese curd in it.

The dining threads of late have been a great source of entertainment as people are discovering things like quinoa, cheese on fruit and paneer.

Nuts were warm!

Decent salad and roll.

Tamale chicken served with yucca spears. All four people in first row ordered the chicken, and that was it for the chicken. Other options were hoisin glazed short ribs with wasabi grits and seafood gumbo. I love the tamale chicken, and first became familiar with it on pmCO transcon flights years ago.

Mango sorbet tasted good.

The Northern South America catering is a change of pace -- have not tried it yet.

Just curious on the IAH-BOG flight, was business full?

How many miles did you get offered for having some cat in your nuts?

IAH-BOG was full in business, 12/12 on 737-700. Originally booked in 757-200 lie-flat but equipment changed few weeks before.

I know this has been discussed before, but it really annoys me as a vegetarian. i'm flying SAN->EWR->DEL next week. i'll get vegetarian meals during the 15 hours from EWR->DEL, but nothing I can eat on the 6 hour SAN->EWR and reverse..

Lunch

Mixed nuts followed by a choice of Asian beef salad, jambalaya, as well as a third entree which I can't remember.

Had the jambalaya. Wasn't as good as I thought it would be. The salad looked more filling. Was surprised at the small portion.

Served with green salad and pretzel bread.

Lemon sorbet for dessert

What's interesting is this flight was blocked under 4 hours (made it in 2:55 actually!) but received the 4+ hour catering. Looks like they are rounding up as far as this is concerned. ^^^^
