If you change to 11/26, yes. As long as you have an 11/26 flight, any time, you can keep changing. Once you change to another date, you're locked.

That said - even if meaningful snow doesn't materialize in the cities - this storm is likely to bring strong winds, rain, and low ceilings. ATC delays and cancellations will happen. And there's not much slack in the system on this particular day. I wouldn't trust that Wednesday will be OK (and I'm flying out of DCA on Wednesday.)
So I'm all for these early and flexible waivers from the airlines.

That's why I booked a second refundable ticket from IAD to SFO for Thursday mid-day. If Wednesday turns into a [mess], I would much rather have a confirmed seat on Thursday rather than dealing with rebooking into a middle seat (if at all).

Thank you UA (and DL and AA)! I really needed to change Wed transcon trip a day earlier (for a reason unrelated to weather)
I called in to get the change, plus did the SDC to get even better flights that showed up later.
Safe travels everyone!!

Travel Advisory Thanksgiving (NYC, CHI, WAS) - what are my prospects
http://www.united.com/CMS/en-US/trav...elnotices.aspx
Travelling paid F (Z fare), connecting through ORD on way to PHL
Have rescheduled to earlier flight (late on 11/25) but assuming worst case scenario (stranded in ORD)
what (if anything) can I expect from UA? (comped hotel? meal voucher? A hard floor to sleep on in B terminal?)
Looks like its going to be a bad holiday travel period....

Probably just a rain event for the NYC airports.

The most important thing on Wednesday is somehow getting out of EWR, but I have a tangential question for the group. Please indulge my curiosity.
I'm very aware of the ridiculousness surrounding the PNR splitting at check-in in order to process companion upgrades. In a situation like Wednesday, where there is a fairly high chance of a cancelation, my instincts say not to split the PNRs under any circumstance. Is my gut correct? And if so, are upgrades out of the question? I've read through the thread about PNR splitting a few times, but I'm still a little confused about the whole process. I don't travel with my wife on UA very much.
